Also included in the approved project is a complete realignment of Oak Grove Drive. In addition, a 400 space Park 'n Ride lot will be constructed adjacent to the Pocono Bazaar Flea Market on Route 209. The lot will encourage further reduction in local roadway congestion by accommodating ride-sharing and public transit options.

Signalized intersections will be created (project map)

• at realigned County Bridge Road and Route 209 (7 Bridges Road), at the southern end of the project,
• at the newly created intersection of existing Route 402 and Oak Grove Drive near White Birch Estates,
• at Route 209 and Mt. Nebo Road/Oak Grove Drive (relocated), and
• at Route 209 and Sellersville Drive.

The need for additional signalized intersections within the widened-Route 209 area will be evaluated as the project proceeds through final engineering design. Service roads also will be constructed to provide access to properties along existing Route 209 at County Bridge Road and Mt. Nebo Road.

Three intersections - Buttermilk Falls Road/ Route 209, Buttermilk Falls/River Road, and Route 209/River Road - will be widened with signal improvements to assist traffic flow during and after construction. (view the project map)
